over lock stitch consumption

If there are 35 yds of over lock sewing in a garments then ,how many meter of thread are needed for over lock sewing ? if one inch stitch needed 13 inch thread.

Now , 1 yds = 36 inch .

 Then 35 yds = 35×36  = 1260 inch .

     1 inch =  13 inch thread

So that 1260 inch needed = 13×1260 = 16380 inch thread .

Needed thread consumption in meter = 16380 inch ÷39.37 inch =   416.05 meter thread needed .  (  1 meter =39.37 inch  )
