Carton costing :

Ply board carton cost consumption ,

Carton length 60 cm

Width of carton 40 cm

Height  10 cm

2 ply board rate per square meter =$0.70

Total carton is = 1000 pcs .

So consumption:

 = {( length + width + allowance ) × ( width + height + allowance ) × 2 } ÷ 10000

= { ( 60+40+6 ) ×( 40 +10+5) ×2 } ÷10000

= 1.16 square  meter per pcs carton .

Costing = 1.16 × $0.70

               = $0.82 per pcs carton .

 Total cost =  $0.82 ×1000

                  = $816.2 total cost .
